More ways to connect
MCP servers, command-line tools, Android App Actions, APIs, and AI tool descriptions can all use the same approved app action. They do not replace the shared action record or the code inside the app that performs the work.
What each connection must define
- How the calling tool finds and understands the action.
- How people sign in, who may run it, and which rules are enforced.
- Inputs, results, errors, use limits, and cost limits.
- How the request reaches the app or service that performs the work.
- Versioned test results from the place where the connection will be used.
Current status
The product can describe actions for AI tools and plan how connections should work. Working MCP, command-line, Android, and automatic AI routing are still planned and must be built and tested one at a time.
